Nookie...

...no, not that sort, this sort.

My lovely new Nookie Zone Shell arrived today; a latex free dry top!
Noice!

Hopefully I'll get to use it this weekend...

Work...

...isn't all sitting around drinking tea and talking about boating. Occasionally I have to go canoeing. It's tough. Real tough.

Then I came home to find my new boat ready and waiting for me:
Sweet!

Uganda Photos

Apologies for the wait; but here are a few pictures from Uganda. If you've ever thought about going; do it. It's amazing, and if you don't go soon, there'll be a chuffing big dam which'll flood some of the awesome rapids further up the river...

Uganda Part 1

Deep breath...

Films not sleeping on the plane, mental baggage handlers, crazy roofracks, crazy driving, hot weather, cheap beer, cheap food, cool campsite, warm water, crazy wildlife, massive waves, big holes, green waves, breaking waves, spins, cartwheels, failed loops, rafting, flat bits, rough bits, rafting DVD's, food poisoning, sunburnt rafters, photos, "Mzunguhowareyou?", riding on trucks, riding on bodas, crazy mutatu roofracks, awesome sunsets, heavy heavy rain, lakeflies, cool people, cool company, too short a holiday...

Photos will follow!

Is that your best price?

No, of course it isn't. I'm just telling you that for the fun of it.

So glad there's only a day and a half left before some time off...

Designed by committee...

Drain bungs which have a nice looking fish design for the handle, but snap off really easily and are then stuck until you arse about with a screw driver?

At least the new one looks nice...

Warwick Circuit Races

The BCF Circuit Races were held in Warwick this weekend, so I went to watch.
Unicycle racing was a sight to behold, and the Elite mens race massively impressive; given the speed, width (or lack of) of the course, and number of riders.

Unicycle racing....

Elite men

and again

Tight course, with kerbs, scaffolding and lots of other bits for people to clip

Some of the many many wheels lining the course, along with bikes, rollers and groupies

Better than watching TV any day...
